BLACKPOOL WINTER GARDENS EXHIBITION PROJECT.
For our 'Design in Context' module, we worked with infamous design company Casson Mann, on an exhibition for the notorious Blackpool Winter Gardens, as part of the regeneration project which is currently underway. I chose to focus on the theme 'Everybody Dance now' as I was inspired by a visit to the Tower Ballroom buring afternoon tea.
My exhibition is a nostalgic oasis; a tropical escape from reality. Fully immersive with music and dance. Just like afternoon tea at the tower ballroom; where you can escape the grey outdoors.
This project was my first experience of exhibition design and showed me how easily transferable my skills are into different areas of design. I'm very proud of the outcome of this project and I was runner up for an internship at Casson Mann.
