REVERIE
Our first project of 2nd Year was a collaboration module, in which we had to produce a full short film. We ran the whole project ourselves, learning about all of the different department which are needed, from set to costume, special effects make, scriptwriting, prop sourcing casting, cinematography and the final editing phase. I was assigned Director, as well as Art director, and also had a very hands on role with the construction and design of set and costume.
Our final film was Reverie. A short film about a drug user in his final hours of life, how he begins to look back on where things went wrong and his actions lead to his demise. We see his viewpoint from the moment he takes his last hit up until his death. I wanted the final film to have a very artist look about it, I paid very close attention to the colours used and the final look of the film.
